Malware = http://results2.google.com/
How can I rid my PC of this malware that redirects me away from the selection I make on a Google search?

Follow Phantom010's instructions to have your thread moved to the malware section.

----------------------------------------------------------------

If your computer is the Dell Dimension 2350 desktop that's listed in your computer specs, you should max out the RAM in it. It supports up to 1024 MB of DDR PC2100 SDRAM - 512 MB in each slot.

512 MB isn't enough to properly run Windows XP and all the other programs that you have.
