 Slow Slow Slow and forget video downloading HELP My laptop is running sooo slow and memory is running at it's max all the time. I would love to get some help with this. Thanks in advance. | Run the Norton Removal Tool at least twice. You have traces of Norton/Symantec left on your computer. Norton is notorious for various problems, like Internet connection, when not properly uninstalled. |

| Assuming you have run the Norton Removal Tool, please post a fresh HijackThis log. Also, how much RAM is on your computer? What type of videos are you having trouble with? Flash related videos or all types? |

| This is exactly the same log for the third time. Look at the time in your log. It says 11:55:02 AM. Delete any other logs you may have saved on your computer. Run the program again and watch for the new window opening with Notepad. Copy and paste that log in your next post.

| I have tried to run this 3 times this morning and it still keeps coming up with the same time and date stamp and I checked notepad and there are no previous ones saved in there. I am so confused never had this problem with Hijack before. Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong? Thanks |

| OK, no Norton traces left.  As for RAM, I GB is a minimal requirement for Vista. I wouldn't run Vista with less than 2 GB. Your computer is never going to be really fast with 1 GB. I'll be back later to help you trim down your Startup list and running processes. Hopefully, we'll be able to speed it up a little.

| Just found out your computer is infected. Sorry I missed it before. Please click on Report and kindly ask to be moved to the Malware Removal & HijackThis Logs forum. From there, be patient.
