Hello, I will appreciate any assistance I can get...I'm stuck. Upgraded AVG free and ended up with HTML framer virus. Ran ATF cleaner, malwarebytes and kaspersky and pop-up warnings from AVG re: HTML framer stopped. Right on the heels of that, a JS Generic virus is showing up and I cannot remove it by any of the above means. When the HTML showed up on the PC I had our son switch to the laptop and when AVG updated on the laptop it showed the HTML Framer virus on that too??? Can someone please assist me with this? Thank you.

these are detctions about problems on a website you are visiting & not on your computer. AVG is doing its job by blocking these infiltrations from a web site and you will continue to get them when visiting those infected websites

first thing to do is empty all temp files including browser cache

Download Temp File Cleaner to your desktop
Open the file and close any other windows.
It will close all programs itself when run, make sure to let it run uninterrupted.
Click the Start button to begin the process. The program should not take long to finish its job
Once its finished it should reboot your machine, if not, do this yourself to ensure a complete clean

If you are using Vista or Windows 7 then right click the TFC.exe & select run as Admin to allow it to work.
