Angry How do I remove ad.yieldmanager?
I'm getting random pop up ads even when I'm not online. my AVG virus program notifies me a few seconds before they open and the tracking cookies all seem to be ad.yieldmanager.

I've run Spybot, Adaware and Superantispyware but although they remove the spyware it seems to keep coming back. I downloaded Spyhunter on the recommendation of a friend and then tried to remove the files manually rather than buying the full product but in some cases they weren't at the location identified. I've uninstalled Spyhunter now yet I still get system alerts every time a registry entry changes - a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire?

I've also run the Symantec removal tool but this told me that it was not found on my PC.

Here is my HJT log from this evening. I consider myself to be reasonably IT literate but I draw the line at playing with registry and system files as it's too easy to delete something vital. I'd be grateful for any assistance anyone can offer as these pop ups are driving me mad!

many thanks in advance.
