Virus with program Freecorder
Hello,

I recently downloaded a program called Freecorder 4.01 application. I tried running it and it would lock up and cause all of my other programs that were open to close. After trying to uninstall it all of the programs on my computer became dysfunctional. For example, on my desktop, instead of the icons displaying with their respective logos, the icons are all what looks to be a white piece of paper with a folded corner in the top right and with another little image inside of it. When I start my computer it won't let me get as far as opening the start menu. The one time I was able to access it and try to open the control panel, it says that the control panel file can't be opened. It also says "rundll32.exe. To open this file, Windows needs to know what program created it. Windows can go online to look it up automatically or you can manually select from a list of programs on your computer." I really don't know what to do with this and I don't want to lose the files I have on my computer already. Do you know what kind of problem I could be facing? I want to try to run some kind of virus scan but it won't allow me to open up any files. Thank you
