volume box on screen wont go away

i have a gray volume box that stays in the middle of my screen it only goes away when it wants to and only for a few seconds. my curser goes behind this image.i cant click anywhere on this image either.i have trend internet security.but no matter what search i perform, nothing ever finds this.PLEASE HELP!i run windows vista
