Hi. Despite being super careful I am in a boatload of trouble with my new system already. I have win 7 professional. It appears that the sleep mode triggered this but I could be wrong. I opened my computer and the icons were changed around and several were duplicated. I could NOT do system restore , in safe mode or otherwise. Other programs are inaccessible. I use Firefox. Hijack this could not complete, I've tried all of the system troubleshooters, online, offline etc. Thought I had it but going around in circles has my head spinning. Your help is most appreciated. I have always had success with SuperAntispyware-but it has not worked on this system yet--Didn't know what to do -kept trying then I just found out that it is not compatible with windows 7. Things were smooth with weekly updates but now I am apparently quite vulnerable. I deleted it, and reinstalled several times as well as other potential programs however there was no change.
