Really struggling here as only have very basic computing skills, have been contacted by several people on my hotmail contacts list to say i have sent them an email which they were very suspicious of, and i know i havn't emailed them. someone also told me they had an email from me which listed other people in my contact list and suggested they click on the link surprise.exe. Looked in my inbox and i had two emails from people i havn't heard from for months which when i opened it said "the link is infected". What is going on and how do I sort it out, thankyou.

Sorry for delayed response. Forums have been really busy. If you still need help with this do following, please.

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here or here or here.
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds file to run the tool.
  • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
    1. DDS.txt
    2. Attach.txt
  • Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.
