I wonder if anyone can help me. I've been hunting the internet for a solution to this... but no luck so far.
My pc has picked up some kind of malware and now I have an advert for an adult entertainment site on my desktop, which appears spontaneously and when closed, reappears a few seconds later.
Checking Task Manager - Processes has shown that the process is mshta.exe, located in C:\Windows\system32\mshta.EXE
www.(adult entertainment site address).
I can't delete this process as I don't have the permissions and after some research, I'm not even sure whether mshta.exe is a process that should be deleted. I've attempted to solve it with MalAware Bytes but no luck.
Does anyone know what's going on/have any solutions?
