Solved: Add a link a to photo in photoshop/dreamweaver?
i have a website built with WordPress. i customized a banner and had inserted it to my site already. however, i have some logos inside the banner that i wanna add links to so when the cursur goes to the logo and it can click the link to that logo.

i tried to do so using photoshop "Slice" and add the links to the logos. however, when i do so in photoshop, i have save it to "web use" and the file is html. however, the wordpress template only allows me to add a picture format file.

so i have a problem with this "adding links to the logos in the banner photo". can anyone suggest what software i should use to make this work?

Thanks!!

Create 2 images 1 with the background and one with the logos. Assign the background image as normal in Wordpress. Assign the logo as the foreground image tied to the blog title that will make it click-able.

If I read you right, you've got an image which contains various logos, and you want those individual logos to be separate links?

To do this you need to use 'Image Maps', they are lists of coordinates that define parts of the image as buttons. I found this handy little page that explains, in laymen's terms, how to do this in WordPress (which I don't use by the way).

Hope that helps...
