Question Creating Tabs on Webpages
I am creating a website for a rescue animal shelter organization. I created several tabs already that are linked to other urls. However, now I am trying to create tabs that are on the same webpage. For example, if you look above at the top of this webpage, there are several tabs (Home, Forums, Library, News, Store, and Donate). If you click on any of those tabs, you would get different info but it's still on the same website. I'm trying to do the same thing for my website but I'm not sure what CSS code I have to use. Please help me!

It is very similar.

At the moment one of your 'tabs' has a link like http://newdomain.com to take you to a new page on your site you just substitute http://newdomain.com with the name of your next page so something like history.html. so the code would be

Code:
<a href="history.html">History</a>

instead of

<a href="http://newdomain.com">New Domain</a>

Thanks colinp. But now the problem is that if I click on the tab on my website, I get an error message saying that the webpage isn't available. So what now?

It means that you either have the name of your web page incorrect (don't forget that file names are case sensitive so history.html is different to History.html) or the web page that you are trying to find is not in the same folder as your existing page on your web server.

Post your url then I can check it out and give you an exact answer.

Website: http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/TN390.html

These are the codes for the different tabs:
<td width="15%"> <center>
<strong><font size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><a href="http://www.petfinder.com/pet-search?shelterid=TN390">Our
Adoptable Pet List</a></font></strong> </center></td>
<td width="15%"> <center>
<strong><font size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><a href="http://www.petfinder.com/pet-search?status=X&shelterid=TN390">
Our Happy Tails!</a></font></strong> </center></td>
<td width="15%"> <center>
<strong><font size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><A href="AdoptersPawPrints.html">Adopters Paw Prints</a></font></strong> </center></td>
<td width="15%"> <center>
<strong><font size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">
Our Team</a></font></strong> </center></td>
<td width="15%"> <center>
<strong><font size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><a href="mailto:shellysangels4u@Gmail.com">Contact
Shelly's Angels</a></font></strong> </center></td>

All of those are working fine for me in Firefox, it finds the pages and displays them. Just tested with Safari and that is fine too. Clear your browser cache and try again.
