Using <div> with layers
I'm taking a Web Development class this summer and was assigned a project by the instructor. As the thread title says, it involves using <div> with layers. I'm supposed to develop a web page presentation explaining the use of the <div> tag with layers. I have two layers set up and two buttons to click (click on one button and it brings up first layer, click on another button and it brings up the next layer). My only problem is, I don't know how to associate the buttons with the layers they should open. I asked the instructor for help and she told me she did not know how either!? (I'll keep my comments to myself about that). Anyway, I haven't found any resource yet that explains what I am trying to do. I guess my first question is...is it possible to click a button and have it open a certain layer? If so, how in the
#!?* do you do it?

I really not asking for anyone to do my homework for me...just to point me in the right direction.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Sorry, no helpy with school work here. Get the grade on your own merit and research. Google is a great tool and I am sure you can find many tutorials on the subject.

Rockn,

Thanks for your reply. I guess I was just being lazy, though I really had been trying to do the research myself. I did find what I was looking for and ended up with an A on the project and an A in the class.

At first I kind of resented your reply but now I'm glad you said what you did.

Thanks!
