Question Webmaster Freebies? Tools?
I host a small Kid's Site (http://home.mchsi.com/~bn/) and
I'm thinking about adding a general info section like a mini MSN or Go.com (Without email). Any ideas on what I should include? I need help with the coding of those tools so any code would be helpful. I use Microsoft Frontpage 2002 ...
Also...
I would like to provide my visitors (< 1 a day ) with as much IE plugins/toolbars/browser enhancements as possible, though I don't want to pay anything. So, how are they programmed?
Any info/suggestions would be helpful. Also, note that my page's background is down and I haven't had time to fix it. I will fix that soon...

It might not be a good idea to force plugins etc on them, since one: they ARE kids, and two: not everyone uses IE.

And a suggestion for more traffic, get a better url.

Cool No I mean...
I didn't mean that. I meant this will be a second site hosted on my site... When they enter they will have a option of going to my site or going to the other site. The general info site will be for adults and kids. I will have a site for downloading them, not forceing the download. And besides this site is really for "Young Adults", not kids. Guess I should have been more speciffic.

Anyways, I don't like critism of my type. "Young Adults" can be really powerful, you know.
Myself, I'm one of the most computer literate "Young Adults" you'll ever meet. Actually, some people might consider me "Too Smart". I guess thats because they think I don't get enough exercise.

Also, the only reason that's my URL is because it's free with my internet. U can also get there by typing in http://bn.home.mchsi.com. I'm thinking about buying a domain, but I've got to convince my parents, so that'll probably take awhile, especcially since I'm getting a laptop sometime this week. I will try to get them to take it out of my bank account.

Is there a way to make plugins, etc in Netscape? I know there are other browsers, too but I'm not sure everyone who DOES come to my site uses them. It's usually just me, though I tried to advertise at school. And I use IE.I know AOL doesn't support those things.

I wasnt insulting 'young adults', im a teenager myself.

If your unable to get a domain i suggest a domain redirection, like http://my.dot.tk, http://www.shorturl.com, or http://www.cjb.net
