Arrow Require Javascript for checking domain Availability
This javascript will check to see if a domain name is available. It will check the following TLD's:

.com
.net
.org
.info
.us

It should support the searches (Examples):

http://www.domain.com
www.domain.com
domain.com

If the domain name is available, it will redirect the user to http://www.available.com. If it is not available, it will redirect the user to http://www.unavailable.com.

JavaScript can't do WHOIS queries on its own, you need a serverside language to do that.

It sounds like he wants users on his own website to be redirected to different pages based on the results. This is very easy in PHP, and probably other serverside languages.
