Smile Access to Web Site
I was speaking with a restaurant owner last nite and referring to her web site, she said the fellow that developed it is long gone and she does not know how to gain access into it to change anything. I know absolutely nothing about this and am trying to find a possible solution for her if there is one.
Can anyone offer any information pertaining to this problem?
Thanks
Steve

Contact the ISP where the web site is hosted and explain the situation. If the resturaunt or any of it's former staff were listed as contacts the ISP should reset any passwords and tell you how to access and update the web site content.

There are numerous programs that will "Rip" a website and get all of it's content and images onto your HDD. From there you can republish it and edit it on a different server.
