Question Php .....lost
Hi,

I wanted a quick easy way to get a website which has a members sign in part etc just for my gaming hobbie. so after some searching came across : http://www.nukemods.com/modules.php?name=Downloads which hav php themes which i thought would be good cuz there are mostly done just a few things to change etc

one problem is that i dont know anything about php and you have to compile it i hav read the guide on the website but tbh it dont make much sence do u think i should giv up at this point?

or can anyone help me or know of any guide i could follow??

Does your webhost support PHP?
You only need to compile it if you are trying to run it on your own computer.

Hi,

yer i hav checked that and i found lycos which support php etc.

You say i dont need to compile it but im not sure what i meant to do now

heres an exsample of the kind of thing im trying to do: http://members.lycos.co.uk/thefugitives/

So far ive uploaded all the files using the ftp which they giv you. on the website the give you a tool called "phpMyAdmin" which im, sure is ment to do something before it just works ???

Help on this?
