Solved: need an advice on this
here is my situation.
i'm a member of this club at my university, the club board wants me to edit some simple stuff on the website. now since we have so many new members, it became a mess having people signing up to volunter work in papers.

so they want me to set up a sign up page on the website, where people can sign up for differnet events that they want to volunteer for. i never done something like. how do i go about doing this using PHP+ MySQL i don;t know much about the two. that's why i'm hoping somebody can tell me how i can set up this thing so it can run do different name lookups and stuff.

thanks in advance.

Sign-Ups
You can use PHP with a mySql database, or ASP with an Access database. Either way you will need to know how to program in either PHP or ASP and send the info to a database. If you are looking for someone to give you the code, there are many free utilities to do just what you are asking for - just do a search
