Solved: Problem with PHP, page always refreshes.
When I look at my PHP Info (Which you can look at http://ptrw.com/phpinfo.php) the page continues to flash, and I am guesing it is refreshing, it displays a small part of the PHP Info then, a bit more, then nothing, then all, then nothing, this continues to repeat, The only way to make it stop is by pressing the stop button, and hoping you will get most of the page.

This also happens with another php script PHP Coin which you can see at 'http://ptrw.com/coin2/login.php?w=admin&o=login' (Login as 'webmaster' with password 'server', I trust no one will medel with anything)

I have attached my PHP Ini file httpd.conf file.

Anyone know of the problem?
Attached Files
File Type: txt php.ini.txt (39.1 KB, 40 views)
File Type: txt httpd.conf.txt (36.7 KB, 41 views)

It looks like there is a redirect at the end of the script by the way it is behaving.

Then why is this also happening when I look at my PHP Info (http://ptrw.com/phpinfo.php). Would it have to be something about the setup PHP or Apache?

Does it happen on any other pages on this web site? If it doesn't then it is the code for that page alone.

About 75% of the PHPCoin pages act in the same way. I contacted the guy who made PHPCoin and said it has something to do with the configuration of the webserver, or PHP it self.

I updated Apache to 2.0.52 and also installed PHP 4.3.9. For some reason when I look at PHPInfo it still thinks it is PHP 4.3.6, except the Apache signiture says 4.3.9 (Make a 404 error at ptrw.com ie http://ptrw.com/545454.dfd).

I made a new install of PHPCoin at http://ptrw.com/fit/ as you can see I deleted the left column, this seemed to have solved the page continuing to resize and refresh.

I am just thinking about this but, could the same be happening to the phpinfo?, that the table structure for phpinfo is also not working properly. If I am right is there a setting that may be wrong in the PHP.INI file?

Can someone post there ini file, I realize I will have to change somethings in the file, except it may help us find the problem.

Thanks

I have tried six different versions of PHP4, and not one has solved the problem. I have also tried the reccomened and dist files of httpd.conf except they have not worked aswell.

I can not work out what the problem is, except PHP say that Apache 1.3.x is more compatible than Apache 2, except I do not wish to change.

I installed apache 1.3 and configured it. And now when I run phpinfo it displays correctly this is also the same with PHPCoin.

So the problem was that PHP 4, did not work with my Apache 2 on Windows. PHP do note in the install file that PHP 4 is still being tested with Apache 2.

Thanks Rockn for your input into this thread and I would like to personally recomened PHPCoin to anyone who needs a website to manage invoices, finance, client information, or a business who Registers Domain Names.
