asp generator software
Has anyone here ever used this kind of software to generate asp code instead of someone (me) trying to find code to match my particular situation?

Thanks

Most generators will only help you set up simple things like dropdown lists, form elements, etc. It would be far better to learn how to write them yourself.

Hey Rockn,

I kinda figured so. But I'm always hopeful there's a GUI for more complicated tasks

Not really no. When you are doing real programming there are tools that have GUI's for building screens, but not for doing anything complicated...or any programming for that matter.

What is it you need to create?

Gibble, what I need may be pretty simple (or has started out simple). I'm doing a website for a friend and she may need a page that calculates what your monthly payment for a house would be with downpayment and interest rates applied. There may be more to it, I haven't gotten all the info yet. I have *some* (very basic) asp knowledge, I just haven't used it in a while

That is quite simple assuming you know the formulas

You're right. I'm just not sure where it's going yet, if it'll get more involved.
