Red face FAO: Anyone good @ making graphics/logo's
Hey guys & girls,

My actual web site building skills are ok, but I'm not so hot with designing graphics/logo's.

If anyone has the time & can be assed to make a logo/banner for my site www.urbanhardcore.com. (it's going to be used on a black background)

Then I'd be most grateful and will send you a cd full of cool music....

Thanks for reading,

EP.

Alas, my design skills for graphics are lacking as well. What I do is search Google for "clipboard art" or "Gif's". There you will find tons of images and can then at least get a start.

Hehe no it's not going to be porn, to be honest I've studied web design for a while now, and I'm just looking to get some hands on experience. I thought of doing a porn site, because yeah like yourself everyone hears 'urbanhardcore' and thinks of naked bodies copulating in the street...

But alas, It's going to be about music from up and coming bands, discussions regarding views and perspective's about anti-capitalism , anti-globalism and the like. Well thats the plan anyway!

ur·ban -Of, relating to, or located in a city. Characteristic of the city or city life.

hard-core - Intensely loyal; die-hard: a hard-core secessionist. Stubbornly resistant to improvement or change: hard-core poverty.

Rockn i'm sorry for as**ng you, heh that sounds soOoOo dodgy! buy yeah no offence intended Hope your not too dissapointed its not a porn site!

You post a drawing or some other idea of what the content should look like you may get some better help.

NP, that logo was created in roughly 1 minute using Fireworks, with some chrome accents and fonts that I created.

It is easy once you get into it, you can draw, then scan and "digitalize" your scanned image for pretty awesome graphics.

Anti-captalism?? Are you some sort of socialist non free thinker that thinks everyone should be the same? Send me all your money and you and your friends will all be of an equal social status.

Sounds like an intellectual think tank with 60's beatnik types sitting around reading poetry and sipping coffee.
