FTP site file uploads
I want to build a site to allow the exchange of drawings and large documents between clients. Currently use smartFTP but want something with a more professional presentation. Can anyone give me a push in the right direction - mysql, php ??. All tutorials store names and addresses in database but not large files. Would need to upload and download, but have searchable database to locate them.

Thanks

You could use any of the pre-written scripts available from any of the script sites. YOu could also create a form to supplement the upload where they could enter a file name and a short description that could be searched upon.

If you aren't familiar, or only slightly familiar with php and MySQL; you might want to check out a content manager, like phpNuke, postNuke or mambo... those should work well for your wants.
