Front Page XP form question
I'm having a bit of a problem with a form I created on a site using FP XP.

I created a feedback form using the tools in FP, and it appears fine in FP. When I preview the page in my browser, above the form fields is the text "[Front Page Save Results Component]".

In looking at the html, I see the form inserted <!--webbot bot="SaveResults" S-Email-Format="TEXT/PRE" S-Email-Address="btpd@ptd.net" B-Email-Label-Fields="TRUE" B-Email-Subject-From-Field="FALSE" S-Email-Subject="Crime Tip Submission" S-Date-Format="%A %B %d, %Y" S-Time-Format="%H:%M %Z" S-Builtin-Fields="Date Time"

When I deleted that, the text went away but it erased all of my saved properties (email, etc).

If it's important, I'm using Windows XP and IE 6.0

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have a solution for you but I do have a suggestion.

Stop using Front Page. It's by far the worst html editor I've seen (IMO). I wouldn't use anything graphical. I would do all the html by hand that way you understand it, edit it, and it will work properly in other browsers.

Ahh, Thats not an errer, you will see that message "[Front Page Save Results Component]" untill you put it on your sever that has Frontpage ext. Thats more of a reminder that it is a Form. But when you put it on a web server that has frontpage ext. it will disapear

Batnip, thanks! I appreciate it.

Mithrilhall, here's the issue. My server requires a FrontPage client to upload my webpage.
