Question Much needed help!
First of all, hello everyone...this is my first post here!

I'm a very amateur web designer who agreed to help a friend who needed a website but couldn't afford to pay for one as their business was just starting. I said I could have the site ready a little over a month ago, and they're not complaining because they're not paying me for the site, but I know they need the site.

Anyway, here are the problem's I'm having....everytime I view the webpage http://www.careconnectionco-op.ca I get "errors on page" in bottom left of Internet Exploder window.

After using http://r.netmechanic.com/ to attempt to figure out what these errors were I see that I have some browser compatability issues...

I used Frontpage (Office XP version) to make the site, and for the buttons I used the OnMouse over, swap picture to a different image and I think this is where the issue is, but I can't quite figure out why...

Something that's probably important is if I load the page on the computer where I created and am storing the webfiles, I don't get the error message.

If anyone can assist with this, that would be great...I won't post them unsolicited, but I have the reports from netmechanic and of course the original HTML code for those who are more adept at deciphering that kind of thing...

I don't get the error messages here. What browser are you using when you get the errors? It may well be some security settings if you are running IE when encountering the messages.

Error details
Here is what Netmechanic tells me about the errors...it inserts the text in purple and blue and I'm just not sure what it's getting at as to what I need to do to fix the problem.

can you tell us how to reproduce the error - been all over the site and it works OK for me

this is a problem
Quote:
src="file:///C:/Program%20Files/Microsoft%20Office/Office10/fpclass/animate.js">
this is pointing to a file on your PC and not on the server.

and thats why it works on one PC and not on the other.

which page /rollover is it ???? as I dont have that directory on my PC - fpclass - so it should fail for me to.

on the server / webpage directory - you should have a directory called fpclass -
do you have one ????
if so check you have the animate.js in that directory
change

to
src = "fpclass/animate.js"

a good tutorial on rollover's

Exclamation "Done, but with errors on page."
The error message I'm referring to comes up in the status bar at the bottom of the webpage and says "Done, but with errors on page." It doesn't really seem to affect anything, but I want to understand what is causing it.

The ladies who I am making the site for want it to list in search engines and so far it isn't. I was trying to get the metatags to work properly, and I thought the errors may be affecting this so that's one of the reasons I'm trying to fix it...

works fine for me - no errors listed in status bar on IE.

it can take months for search engines to start to list your website - most search engines have an area where you can submit your url "do a search in google for

add url
and you will find links where you can add your url - or you can pay companies to submit to search engines.
