keywords on your website
I have a question that maybe you savvy webmasters can answer for me. I've been told that it helps your ranking with search engines if you actually list keywords at the top of your website in a color that makes them practically invisible to the reader but are there for the engines to pick up.

And then I've heard that doing just this could cause you to be rejected, because you are key word loading to trick the search engines.

Does anybody know which is right, and whether it's a good idea or not?

I have read both too. I think it depends on the search engine.
although I dont use a lot of search engines to submit to.
I tend to use the add url to some key engines google etc

mo problem - but remember in can take MONTHS to get a listing on a website form spiders/crawlers etc...
thats why I pick a few sites (mainly that the customer uses) such as google, lycos, etc etc and then add url to those.
