Static Variables, an oxymoron of sorts...
I am wondering what would be the best way to do this:

The values do not change but need to be used in calculations, hence, why I think "variable". (this is currently in a csv and returned to a dynamic table)

C1,C2,C3,C4
A,4,5,1
A,4,4,1
A,4,3,1
B,4,4,1
B,4,3,1
B,4,2,1
C,5,3,2
C,5,2,2
C,5,1,2

Somehow I need to be able to use the returned values in the table in calulations so if B is selected then I use column C3 as my multiplier in the calculation. Any ideas on referencing this, or should I use an array or something else? If different please explain.

thanks,

drew

hmm...I've been searching around a bit and found something along the lines of "getElementById" as I don't need a cell-reference, just C2 * C3 or similar this may work. This sounds intriguing, I'll keep looking, in the meantime can anyone elaborate?

thanks,

drew
