PHP/Mysql and dropdown boxes.
Hi Guys,

Just lookin for a bit of advice. I have separate dropdown boxes for car manufacturer and car models. I want the models dropdown box to be updated depending on the selection from the manufacturers box.

Should I read in all values into a javascript array first, or should I run a scond search of the database to find the model after the manufacturer has been selected. Also, Is there anyway that I can get something like this to work without Javascript, since Javascript will be disabled on some of the browsers.

thanks.

I would have to think it would be better to read them all into a javascript array first. I think it would just work smoother and faster when somebody chooses their Car Manufacturer.
