Faster ftp or would it matter?
Faster ftp or would it matter?

I have Verizon DSL and I'm using WS_ftp95le to upload files to my site but it doesn't work when trying to upload a 152MB "MPG" video file. I get an error message: "Blocking call cancelled" messages and the file transfer is incomplete."

Is there another ftp program that would work better?

I'm trying to upload the file to my site for a friend so he can link to it and play it on another site using the following code:

<embed name="RAOCXplayer" src="VIDEO FILE URL HERE!" width="320" ShowControls="1" ShowStatusBar="0" AutoSize="false" EnableContextMenu="0" DisplaySize="0">

Any ideas?

Just my opinion but you'd be hard pressed to beat WS_FTP lite. I've uploaded 170mb+ files to my site with ease using WS_FTPlt (actually programs) so that my son on the other side of the planet could DL them. Sounds to me like something else is going on...

I tried "FlashFXP" trail version and I got it uploaded w/o an error message whichI could seem to do with WS_FTPlt.

Thanks for the post.

Your host probably has a bandwidth limit or a file size limit

The FTP client isn't the limitation, the ISP is!!
