Anybody got a clue?
Does anybody have a clue what the default web site files and folders would look like? I am running Windows Server 2003 standard with IIS 6.0 I could not remember how the default web site is configured i.e. in the tree how should it look? tsweb, wwwroot etc. how is the tree laid out?

It is laid out however you set it up. Go into IIS and right click on the default web site and select properties. I would suggest setting up a new web site and not use the default one and you can point the home directory to pretty much anywhere you want. Active Directory uses the default web site and that is why I reccomend against using it. You can also assign additional IP addresses to your server NIC to use for any other web sites you want to work on and also assign to any live web sites.

There is no default layout, it is all based on the directory structure of where the files currently are on the hard drive. IIS really has nothing to do with the layout of your web site.

True, but when I setup IIS before I add any web sites, there was a default web site that had folders inside, What where the folders and how was it laid out?

The default location for the default web site directory is C:\inetpub\wwwroot

You can put additional web sites anywhere on any drive.
