Testing question
I am building a web site for a local high school, strictly volunteer work. I've built it using FrontPage 2002 and published it to their site. When I view it on my PC's it looks fine but the school's webmaster says that 2 pages have a problem.

I'm assuming that this is caused by a difference in the version of IE being used but would like to prove it. Once upon a time there was a site to do this called WebSiteGarage. But apparently it is no longer in exists.

Can anyone tell me of another site that one can use to test ones pages on?

Thanks.

Well that certainly checks the page very carefully. Not sure what it all means but will certainly try to sift through it. On the surface I do not see anything about browser compatibility though.

I've tried http://www.anybrowser.com/ but did not find any problems using it.

The site is: http://www.unit5.org/nchs/music/

He says that the link buttons on the right side of the main page are off the screen. And on the Contacts page the last email address does not line up with the others.

Obviously when I display them (using IE 6.0.28) they view fine.

Ok.. I dont know if this has anything to do with it.. but frontpages uses the webbot bot extentions.. so that could be the problem, maybe with the older browser it does not recognize it.

Also what I noticed that the in the sorce code was that the line for the links page actually wraps down to the next page, is there a way you can move that line up?

I checked to see if there were extra spaces, but its kinda funny that Links Page image is the only one that is "messed up" and that is the one that is wraped at the end of the tag...

I could not find anything wrong with the email, and they both look fine on my browser..

Thanks for checking Dreambringer.

I think I'm going to re-do the index page as it has a lot of other little problems because of the way I created it. (This was a Tripod site previously and I just copied the html code from Tripod into Frontpage, which left me with some garbage I suspect.)

The contacts page I think I'll shift it all to the left and reduce the font one point to see if that reduces the problem.

Thanks again.

Move the buttons? Yeah, I'd like to do that myself but it will take a little work. There is a table in that section of the page and that is where the link bar is getting placed. I haven't figured out how to get it out of there and I'd like to take out the table completely. Just have not had the time to do it.

Thanks!!!
