Are you talking about tables in a database or tables or HTML tables?

I believe he's talking about MySQL Tables, MySQL being a type of Database software for Linux.

If you're using cPanel, I suggest you use phpMyAdmin.

Instructions on how to get there:

1. Log into cPanel
2. Click on "MySQL Databases" (the dolphin with the MySQL logo)
3. Go all the way down to the bottom of the page, and click on phpMyAdmin.

phpMyAdmin is a very intuitive interface for managing databases and tables.

Be advised, you must add tables/dbs in the previous page (where you clicked on phpMyAdmin), most hosting sites by default do not allow you to add dbs/tables in phpMyAdmin manually, so you must use cPanel to do that. Otherwise, it's pretty easy to manage the tables via a point-and-click interface.

Addendum:
To delete (DROP) tables using phpMyAdmin, select the database you wish to drop on the left, and on the following page, on the top row, it will have DROP, click there to DROP (effectively clear and delete) the entire database or table.
