Hello, i have owned hosting and a domain for a long amount of time. although now i hardly use it i've decided to use it for file storage purposes. I often see websites such as:

Index of /blah/blah

Name Last modified Size Description

[DIR] Parent Directory 14-Mar-2005 01:32 -
[ ] blah 14-Mar-2005 01:27 40k
[ ] blah 14-Mar-2005 00:59 154k
[ ] blah 14-Mar-2005 01:00 377k
[ ] blah 14-Mar-2005 01:00 250k
[ ] blah 14-Mar-2005 01:00 415k

that just list the folders/contents. i was told to delete the index, although when i do that i get a 403. Forbidden notice. How do i make my websits into a list of it's contents like above? any help is appreciated. thanks!

The web server needs to be set up to allow for directory browsing. What is your web site running on, Apache, IIS, Other?
