Web site requesting log in, but did not before
From a phpbb88 web site the following problem was presented. Since this site will not allow me to post the URL, I can only ask the question in a rudimentary way.

The question posed is well beyond my level of understanding, and wondered if anyone here could explain to this person why web sites she has constructed are now... for the first time... showing a pop-up that requests a log in. You can ignore the log in and continue with the web site. There are two other web sites by the same server that do not have this glitch. Thanks for any help... and I apologize for not explaining it better.

Is it a gray popup box that asks for username/password?
Is this an Apache server?
