Question how can the client edit?
I've just purchased dreamweaver, I've heard here on the forum that it can be a rather useful tool. Now this may be a dumb one, but here is my question. If I create a site using Dreamweaver, is there a way for my client to take the site (they not knowing html) and edit it without having the program? If yes, what will they have to do?
thanks

If they have Microsoft Frontpage, they could use that.

You would need to setup an FTP server, if you are hosting it locally you need a FTPd such as Serv-U's Free FTP server ( download at http://rhinosoft.com/ ) or if you have a web host already, they must have an ftp server (probably do) and you will need the server information and you can give it to TRUSTED clients only, or else you can risk getting your site deleted. You may try to set up permissions so guests can edit certain files only, I myself have never done that so you will have to get google or a manual for that. Dreamweaver and Frontpage already have an ftp client built in to them so no need to worry about FTP clients as long as they have one of those programs.
