nope, just make sure the file is uploaded somewhere and reference that file with a link.

<a href="http://www.yoursite.com/music/file1.mp3">Music File1</a>
<a href="http://www.yoursite.com/music/file2.mp3">Music File2</a>
<a href="http://www.yoursite.com/music/file3.mp3">Music File3</a>

hth,

drew

Since they're that large, I'm guessing your host doesn't allow the space/bandwidth. To do this you would have to setup your pc as a webserver or ftp server. If you have a static ip this is fine, else you will need to use a service like dyndns (free) so the downloads point to your pc from your hosted page.

Is your computer hosting the web site? If not, you have to upload all these music files to the web server. It's not possible for people to download a folder. You could create a ZIP file for each set of songs.

no im not doing powerhour cd's

these mixes are my own compliations..

what i would like is this:

users would pay a small fee be issued with a link and passowrd then download the mix they have chosen. Once they have used the password they will not be allowed to use it again.unless they pay for another one.

Is this simple or difficult..

Sounds complicated to me, but if it's not, I'd like to hear how it's done.

Legally speaking, I assume/hope this is all your own original material.

Well its going to require more than Frontpage.
You'll need to use a serverside language, such as PHP.
There are "shopping cart" programs that allow you to sell files for download and accept payment via PayPal, etc.

You would need to find out if your webhost supports PHP and MySQL.
Then you can use the OSCommerce package as a storefront (free)

PayPal is a payment processor to accept credit cards, etc. http://paypal.com
