Exclamation Solved: Disable selecting a "certain" text.
I need to know the script that disable selecting [or dragging] a certain text, not all of the text on the page. Thanks!

How are you defining what certain text is. Top, Bottom, separate Frame?

I'll construct my question again, so anyone could understand it..

How can I disable dragging text? because I made a site, and the site's logo is just from a cool font, not a logo picture, so I want to protect it, how can I disable the text dragging to that portion of my website, and not the whole page of the site.

Thank you

Are you referring to your title of 'TecHtips'?
No offence, but the font doesn't look that unique to me. What font is it? And why would anyone want to copy your title anyway?
Have a look at mine, is this the effect you are after?

The title only took a minute and means it shows as an image. If you use a rare font, there is no guarantee everbody will be able to see it.

No matter what you do, users can copy text from your site. You just can't control what the user's browser does. As well, your title will only show up in that font if the user has that font installed.

If all you want to protect is the logo, you could possibly convert it to a picture. They could capture it like text but maybe it would be good enough for your purposes.

Hmmmm.. How can I can I convert it to picture? because as what brendandonhu said, if the user viewing the site didn't install the font I used, he/she wouldn't see it...

So, how can I convert it to a picture? If I use print screen, maybe the resolution will decrease.

If they don't have the font, that is correct, they won't see it as you would.

To convert it to a graphic you can do something like a print screen, paste it into a graphics program, make whatever changes you need, likely at least some cropping.

Yeah, I thought of using the screen capture, but I think it would decrease the resolution, is there any software/freeware that lets me capture the screen and won't decrease the resolution of the image?

It will capture the screen at whatever resolution you have at the time.

Looks like TImes New Roman to me since I don't have that font installed on my puter. Not like you can't find it on a font site:
