what does <rr> do ? i can not seem to find an explanation for this html coding

That doesn't seem to be a valid tag, but for the letters by themselves "RR" here is a list of stuff

i found <rr> while looking at the source code of one of
the most popular web sites in the internet. a site that
gets 10M hits a day. so i wondered if it was a mistake
or meant something.

drudge report, but i cant find the <rr> anylonger. must have been a typo or something. it was somewhere near the head title, but again , its gone

Well, it could have been a typo. "R" and "T" and so close together on the keyboard.

If there was no closing </tt>, or even </rr> I could likely of been a attempt at <br> gone horrible wrong.
