htm file carbled
i had no idea which area this should have gone in so you have my apologies if it's wrong.

I had to do a forced shutdown and when i rebooted it did the scan so i let that run but the scan did somthing to the htm file i had open before i shut down

It looks like the characterset has been either changed, just scrambled i assume

Anyway, i can't explain it much so the file itself is here for people to look at
i'll understand of course if people wanna scan it first or anything

Edit: ok i can't post a link.. i hope people get what i mean then.. damn

i'm loking for anyone that knows or a program i could get that may fix it, or if there is somthing i could do. Well a pre-emptive thanks for any help here

Welcome to TSG.

What is this file for? Just some random htm file on your local machine?

Either way, right click the file, then click "open with", then click notepad. Next, copy all the stuff in the text file, and paste it here.

Wow, i wasn't expecting a reply

Well thanks, i fixed it.. well no not fixed it, rather found it. Don't know what made me look but i checked through the deleted files with a tool i have (i wont mention it's name you guys seem to not like advertising) and it was there, the old version with only a little missing (i figure the missing was lost when it shutdown)

Seems scandisc deleted it and left me with a jumbled copy :S

I would sent a part of it (it's quite big, i didn't wanna have to re-do it from scratch which is why i was trying to fix it) purely to let you see if you could have done anything, but it wont let me paste any of it, well it pastes blank rather

Doesn't matter now i guess, thanks anyway :)
