Question Dreamweaver working everywhere but my laptop
I hope I've come to the right place.

I'm using Dreamweaver MX 2004 to create a couple of websites. I have zero problems connecting to my ftp site on my home computer and work computer. However, I cannot for the life of me get it to connect on my laptop. Every time I try, I get an error stating something like "the connection has timed out. The server is down or is not accepting connections" which is bull because I can walk right to my other computer and it connects just fine. Everything is set up identically and the password is correct and all that. I've tried to take down the firewall to see if that helped, but nada there too.

Any ideas?
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Natalie

Well it's a Dell 9300, but I ended up taking it to a techie friend and he figured it out. Thanks though.

Actually, McAfee. I'm not sure what he did, but it was some setting. So now there's an order to which I have to shut off my privacy service, firewall, then McAfee...then Dreamweaver works. Yesterday I forgot to shut it off and it worked, but then the next time it didn't. Who knows.

Thanks for the offer for help!
