Question Solved: Moving text when scrolling
Hi, Guys

Well, i'm trying to do something like in Gmail web interface if anyone has it should have some idea of how i want this to be done.

I want to display a text in a window with overflow text, and when I scroll to see the rest of the content, that text should always display in a particular area where i can no matter where i scroll (scroll up or down the text should always visible).

Can anyone tell me how? I know this has to be done with DHTML or sth like that but i have no idea where to start.

Please help.

Thanks

Are you talking about scrolling layers like in the following link:

Uhmm, it's kind of a bit hard for me to explain this to you guys.

Ok what i want is not like u show me ptvGuy, I want to display a message to audience but my web page content is too long which requires users to scroll down further for the rest. If i display a message on the top that means if a user scroll down they won't see it anymore, right.

Thus i need to position my message absolute and make it move down or up whenever a user scroll down or up as well, so that the message will be visible no matter user scroll up or down.

Please if there's any more question ask because i really want to do this.

P.S if anyone has a gmail account they will know what i mean because if you have alot of thread in one email there will be sender display at the buttom right corner and if you scroll there'll always be there for a user to see.

Thanks
