Paypal IPN and...
I'm not sure if this would go under this section of the forum.

I am still not exactly sure how paypal ipn works or if it is even the solution to my problem. I want to sell Ebooks on my website, and I want it to be completely automated. Along with this, I also want it to be secure and safe. These are the steps on how I imagine this happenng:

Customer visits website and clicks "Buy" button>>Customer goes through payment process>>Costumer recieves email regarding instructions on how to download ebook>>Costumer goes to URL provided in email and enters in login information>>Customer downloads ebook

My other question is how I can make sure my ebooks aren't illegally copied. What solutions do I have to prevent this from happening.

Maybe have a script (or something) that changes the location of the ebook as soon as a download happens so that someone can't give their friend/someone the URL.

Just an idea, I don't know if it can be done though.
