There's no such thing as a stupid question, but they're the easiest to answer.

a few java questions
I'm studying Java, and my teacher gave me an assignment. Its only five questions, and i knew i could ask you guy here on the forums. Can you please answer them ASAP? The examples i think i could get once i learn the main part. Please, any help would be beneficial.

1) How would you declare an integer variable (include example)?
using an int?
2) What type of data would you declare as an integer variable?

3) What type of data would you declare as a double?

4) Whats the difference between implicit and explicit casting?

5) Give 3 examples of implicit casting.

This reminds me of turbo pascal (the first question). Thats because when you create a new program, you have to create variables. My example of that would be things such as 'real', which would be good for things that would end up getting turned into a very large number past the decimal point (which would have to be rounded down anyway). This would mean numbers. Not sure if this helps much, or makes sense .
