Question Solved: adding actions to behaviors in dreamweaver mx 04
I'm rather new to using behaviors in dreamweaver mx 2004. How do I add an action? I'm in need of a mouse over effect and its not showing in the list of actions.
with thanks, msk

It would be in behaviors not Actions. Go to Window > Behaviors to open the tool. Most actions will be greyed out unless you highlight something in the preview window. If it is for a swap image you can use the rollover button on the common menu.

Thanks Rockn, I guess I didn't explain myself very well. I'm trying to create a menu using a layer, table and then carring that further by going from there to behaviors. I found some info on how to do it online, but it seems that I'm missing the final step -option/action of mouse over in my behaviors panel. How can I add this to my list? This first attachment is showing what is in my list, the second shows it from the instruction site. Hope this makes sense.

Click "Show events for" and choose IE 6, your actions and events should change.

Thanks Sequal, that's what I was looking for. One question though, will the menu that I create only be veiwble for those with IE 6?

No, it will work on other browsers that are compatible, or about 98% of all users.
