Works in IE but not in FF
Hi, all!

I've got a bit of an odd, annoying problem with my homepage. Here is what is happening.

I normally have certain elements that stay on the homepage, though the content (text or pictures) may change. Ocassionally, I also ad something new for a short time for a holiday, ect,.

Earlier this month, I added some Valentine Day content in the form of a small article. Just text. However, once I did that, my page became distorted in FF. However, when viewing in IE, it looks fine, though I can notice tiny little errors that really nobody else does.

The REALLY weird problem is that thought I see this distortion in FF, nobody else that I've asked to take a peek at the page that is using FF sees it! To everyone but me, it looks the same in IE as in FF, that is, it looks "right" to them.

Below is attached screenshots of the top and the bottom of the page to show the distortion I am seeing (see red markers).

Could someone please take a look at my page and tell me what the problem is?

Thank you so much...........although it appears fine to others, and though I am going to be removing the Valentine's Day content after the 14th, I still would like to know what I did wrong so as to avoid this annoyance in the future.

I pulled them up side by side in FF and IE and as far as I can tell, they look identical. *I* can't see any difference beteen either one of the ones *I* am looking at. Now, I know for a fact that FF will cache a page and hold it even if you've made changes to it. So maybe you are seeing an older copy of your page. It does that to me and frustrates the bejeebers out of me. Liz

Well, I thought about the FF caching stuff........so I emptied the cache and closed it and opened it again, deleted cookies, ect. ..... I still see what those pics I posted show.

Oh, yes, and the reason I thought it was something n the code, is because when I take that bottom article OUT, then my FF shows the page as it SHOULD be. It's only with that article in there that my FF shows it distorted.

Looked fine to me in Linux Mozilla.

I did notice that you are not reliably closing your paragraph tags. The page will fail validation as a result and it is possible that your problem is associated somehow with that.

Oh. Also.

I run a 1280x1024 display, and on that display your fonts were mice-type. Had to enlarge them two sizes before I could read your page comfortably.

I run 1024x768 and even at that, EVERY webpage looks mice-type.........gives me a headache, lol. So I set my browser to render every page with a certain size type. I honestly cannot imagine what text would look like at a higher resolution.

That being said, I DO check it in IE and on the "preview" of my editor, it is smaller. But, even in IE, it does not seem as small as what you seem to be indicating.

I think the type is set to either "9" or "10."
