Check your logs.
I have my site set up to log certain events, this is a snippit from my own logs:

Quote:
Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http://www.google.com/bot.html)
Host (ISP): crawl-66-249-72-12.googlebot.com
If it's Google, they identify themselves as "googlebot" so what you probably got was some random spider
(spider = search engine bot)

It all depends. They won't give you any specific number, but I would guess about every week.

Actually I don't know how often google hits my site. Certainly daily and usually more often than that, but I can't claim hourly. As of yesterday about 15:30 PST, my site had 280 hits from Google in Feb, with the last hit only 12 minutes before the statistics were updated.

Google doesn't visit all the site each time; just a few pages then gone.

My site is several dozen pages long, not including the message board which I have disabled because of spammers.
