Seachable Thumbnails and fields on site
I desparately need some help as I'm failrly new to web design.

I've created a "site shell" on dreamweaver and would like to add some html pages that have a list of thumbnails (and a short description), that when clicked on will link to another more detailed html page. I would like something that fits in with the look and feel of the site.

I can create tables and insert manually, but I'm sure this isn't the best way to do it and it will be a pain to maintain. If possible, I would also like to cycle the thumbnails every few hours, so they change position (not sure if this is possible).

Then on the searchable side - I would like to create about 20 searchable fields - Do I need to create some sort of DB - I might be better at inserting info into excel and exporting into DB (Little bit nervous of working on a DB).

PLEASE HELP - Would really appreciatte it if anyone could assit with any of the aspects.

I have not used it but Easy Imager seem like a good program.

See the Easy Imager - Sample Web Albums

There are the frame albums and other types of albums you can make.
Note I just clicked on a album but could not see the bigger image because I had my flash disable. So don't know if you need flash or not or it is just that way at the site. OK it was the zoomify version that needs flash.
