Hyperlinks not working in IE after using the transparancy hack
Hi,

I've used the following IE hack to get transparent PNG files working in IE in my CSS code:

Code:
#left {
	float:left;
	width:345px;
	height:422px;
	padding:10px;
	background-image:url(images/overlay.png);
	_filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.AlphaImageLoader(src='images/overlay.png', sizingMethod='scale');
    _background-image:none;
	overflow:auto;
}
This does the job great, but for some reason hyperlinks inside this div now don't work in IE (they do in other browsers though). Any ideas?

Thanks a lot,
Dan

Are you physically clicking on the overlay instead of the hyperlink?

No. If you use the alpha channel hack for ie like this:

filterrogidXImageTransform.Microsoft.AlphaImageLoader(src='images/overlay.png', sizingMethod='scale

then it basically puts the png file on top of everything, no matter what the z-index is etc. I have found a way of getting around it though by using the transparency feature in CSS:
