Solved: Text in a cell
I am using Front Page 2003. I have a web page built with everything in tables. I have one cell that has a background image in it that I want text to be centered over. It is basically a narrow bar that I am using to place my web page title over. The problem is that I cannot get the text centered vertically over the background picture. The text is partially higher than the picture on the first line, and partially lower than the background picture on the next line (no matter what font or font size I use). If I insert a text box, it covers up the background picture. I don't want to change the width of the bar to accomodate the text either because it throws the proportions of my page off.

Change the "line-height:" of your html element that holds your text. For example if you've got a div that holds your background img and text, then you can set the line-height of that div to the height of your background picture. If your text is really long, it will mess up your layout, so you might also need to set white-space and overflow properties.

Thank you
Thanks for the input. I found some code(s) that gave me 3 different ways to do this along with your suggestion.
