div tag in table? (drop-menu problems)
Hey. Wondering if anyone might know what up here. I have a drop-menu and il show you its basic format:

table
cell (title)
/cell
<div ...>
cell (beginning drop part)
form
multiple cells here, each cell contains a form element and is then closed
/form
/cell
</div>
/table

The problem is that it doesnt work! I originally had a table inside the original table, the second one only inside the div tag and that worked... EXCEPT that if you moused off the top of the drop-down box it wouldnt close, because the mouseoff couldnt be placed on the upper table too.

So my question is, is there some restriction with placing div tags inside of tables? Ive checked atleast 5 times to make sure everything is opened and closed in the proper order in regards to the div tags. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, redi.

YEA bro i was just simplying it lol.

by cell i meant <tr><td><input type=radio...></td></tr>

Then when the radio button is clicked javascript is invoked...

Im just wondering... will the DIV tag not work if its only around table cells rather than the whole table or what? I know it works if i have a table inside a table but it doesnt seem to work otherwise and i need "onMouseOut" to be for the main table.

Why use it inside of a table in the first place? Use either a table based layout or a DIV based layout. I have only used div's to contain tables for dropdown menus in the context you are using it, but enclosing the entire table. Why not post the entire code and we will see what's up with it?
