php problem
I get this error when i'm installing Gallery2:
Quote:
Warning: The exec() function is disabled in your php by the disabled_functions parameter in php.ini. You won't be able to use modules that require external binaries (e.g. ImageMagick, NetPBM or Ffmpeg). This can only be set server-wide, so you will need to change it in the global php.ini.
Where and how can i change my php.ini? (I have cPanel X)

A server administrator would have to change it in php.ini. If you're using a webhost they probably won't change it so you'll have to do without modules that require the exec() function.

My host allows you to make your own php.ini file, just a basic $10 a month plan. Contact your hosting support to see if they let you.

Create phpinfo.php with this in it.
<?php phpinfo(); ?>
FTP it to you server and then run it in a browser. Should look something like this. Good Luck
http://www.whatever.com/phpinfo.php

This will give you information on how the php is setup. Then you will be able to better communicate with your hosting service IMHO
