Ftp
Can anyone explain to me how to upload using FTP as im growing a budding interest in these things I was going to look at http://www.ftpsurfer.com./ but it apears to be under construction so daes anyone know of another ?

I really like CoffeeCup's Direct FTP, it's an amazing program, that lets you edit HTML text right on the spot. You can download it for free, but it's only a 30 day demo I believe, but it's only 34 bucks If you decide on purchasing it. I love it though. Check it out here.

Or you can even use Internet Explorer as an FTP software, it's actually pretty neat. All you need to do is type in ftp://yourdomain.com, and then login with your host's username and password that you registered with.

You can view some other software's FTP tutorials here if you need to.

Smart FTP is easy and free.
http://www.smartftp.com/

You will need the connection (File Transfer Protocol) settings from your web host. Then just transfer a file from one window to the next and viola, uploaded. You can upload many files at a time this way.

SmartFTP, Filezilla, WS_FTP, etc. If you want something simple and free use Filezilla
